A fast and fun read that is exactly as advertised. For novella we get quite a bit of backstory (sometimes through too much exposition), character development and world building. Slow-ish burn, easy on the spice, but the romance feels cozy. Sure it all wraps up ever so conveniently, but the lack of major conflict is almost refreshing. Read this for a quick read when you need a break from the holiday madness.
