I am continuing a binge read of everything Davidson has on KindleUnlimited and this one was just as fun, sexy and enjoyable as the rest. The characters were tropey in the ways we like, but developed well and were relatable. The plot included some cross-double -cross and derring-do which was a nice addition to an already solid "friends-to-lovers"/"marriage of necessity" story. All together, a great blend of classic historical romance with Davidson's particularly enticing spice woven throughout.
