Just do yourself a favor and add everything Chloe Liese has ever written your TBR pile.
Sports romance? Check. Grumpy/Sunshine? Check? Only one bed? Forced proximity? Family hijinks? Realistic HEA with reasonable drama? Checks all around! The characters are fun, well written and flawed in ways that will resonate with readers. Actual human problems that get solved through actual human growth (therapy…I am talking about therapy) will always make for great contemporary romances. The background characters are, as always, amazing and Liese makes sure we get our fix of all the other fantastic couples in this series. My only note is that this feels very fanfic-y for a popular football-based TV series, so if you find fanfic gone mainstream to be not your jam, this may not do it for you. As for me, this was the perfect mix of tropes, heart and sizzle.
