This is a cliche of the highest order and I cannot recommend it enough. She’s a damaged little waif that needs rescuing even though she doesn’t let anyone in, he’s a wealthy goober who just wants to save her and then soft top her brains out.  Add in some holiday cheer, classic terrible families and an entirely predictable plot/HEA?  Just read it, you can thank me later.

This is a one of Bailey’s novella/short stories that clearly exists for one reason (we all know what that reason is, no need to be coy) and it serves that purpose 100%.  When I say this book is ridiculous, I mean that in the best possible way.  Lots of insta-love/lust, macho-alpha behavior that would never fly in real life and an immediate HEA.  This is nonsense though and through, in all the romance-tropey ways. This hits the spot between full-length novel and random fanfic perfectly.
