Hollow by C.M. NascostaRating: ✩✩✩✩✩
While these two Headless Horseman themes short stories are very much what was promised, and what you expect from Nascosta, I must confess to not loving these as much as their other works.
The first story does that the reader to exactly where one might go if a horseman had a removable head, but even for me, relied too heavily on "shocking" sex to carry the narrative. Lots of other readers seemed to like it, so YMMV.
The second story was more to my liking with some real ghost story aspects. Nascosta got a bit more into the intersection of an actual Sleepy Hollow retelling augmented with the kind of spice she can so artfully write. Definitely my preferred tale of the two.
Alltogether a short smutty set of reads that might just put your kind of spice into pumpkin spice season.
