It is exactly as described, and readers of the genre will love it. FMC sets out to have revenge sex with ex's business rival, hook-up ensues, HEA results. The characters are fine, the plot exists exactly as much as is needed to get the pair into bed and the spice is solid (as we expect from the author). A quick read novella for when you want some sexy fiction and not too much thinking.

A solidly "OK" anthology of monster f*cking short stories. The individual stories were not particularly spicy or well written, the anthology reads more an advertisement for other books by the authors. For me however, none of these made me want to see more. Some stories had a kernel or two of solid world building, but even by short/novella standards, there wasn't much here for characters or plot. Not super spicy (given that standards for the genre) and I really only kept reading because each story was short enough that seeing if the next one would be better wasn't too much of a stretch. Other reviewers did seem to enjoy all the stories, so this may be a matter of personal taste, but I would give this one a pass.

Ruby Dixon knows how to write what readers want and this series of books and novellas is no exception.
This one features the rare-pair of older woman, younger man complete with insta-love/lust and a complicated wedding ritual that leads to all manor of spicy hijinks. The plot is minimal, though the characters get well developed for the length and format, and Dixon certainly writes the spice tha thrills the masses. At just over 100 pages, this one is fun quick read when you want a taste of a fantasy world without committing to the much longer titles in the series.

Featuring an "on the shelf" society oddball bride, a terrible family and a monster groom, this one hits all the tropes. At just under 200 pages, this one is fun quick read when you want to dip your toes into this world without getting into the heftier tomes of the series.

Usually I enjoy C.M. Nascosta but given how amazing Morning Glory Milking Farm was, this was only OK.
Getting the story from the other side was fun, though Rourke honestly comes off better in the other book. I get that we are seeing his character development through his lens (not as filtered through Violet), but turns out he is much more swoon-worthy as presented the first time. The world building of Cambric Creek was neat (much fun to be had in the world where monsters and humans mix), but the spice was a word for word copy of MGMF and this novella would have been incomprehensible if you hadn't read the source novel.
I am always ready t go back to Cambric Creek, but this one didn't add much to the cannon for me.
