Eh...I have enjoyed the other Jade West works I read, but this one was not my bag. I have no objection to age gap/daddy-kink tropes, but this ran right bast safe, sane and consensual to trauma-bonded-problematic real fast. Granted, this is fiction, and a safe place to explore such things, so if this is your jam, by all means enjoy. I read the whole thing because I couldn't look away and had to see how this hot mess unfolded, so maybe West got me after all!

I was lured into reading this by BookTok and well, when will I learn? I say this with as much kindness as I can muster, this is a story about the worlds dimmest woman on the planet figuring out what to do with a demon she literally conjured all while the grand finale smut fades to black. This could have been a super fun premise, but I just could get into it. It was however a short read, so you will know ASAP if this series is for you.
