This month I actually did some non-ARC reading and made full use of my KindleUnlimited subscription. Mostly read spicy romance and have no regrets!
The one-shot from Sophie Jordan, In Bed With the Stablemaster, was on KindleUnlimited so I kicked off the month with this quick read. Just a fast and dirty "caught in a storm" + "enemies to lovers" + "there's only one bed" = a great time had by all. ✩✩✩✩✩

The third book in Mila Nicks' Paranormal Hunters Series, Black Siren's Song, proved to be as great a read the first two in the series. I got to read Black Witch Magic and Black Moon Rising courtesy of NetGalley, so I was excited to read this next book. If you want a cozy mystery with some romance and a supernatural bend, this is a light and fun series. ✩✩✩✩✩
I burned through the entire Wolf Hotel Series by K.A. Tucker and Nina West. This series was exactly what you want for some fun reading. It feels a lot like Fifty Shades (billionaire playboy falls for naive, younger woman), but actually had a reasons why our fair protagonist was a basically a relationship blank slate. Is it high art? Nope. is it a predictably, and therefore mindlessly enjoyable, sex romp with some fantasy setting, characters and finances? For sure. ✩✩✩✩✩
For a quick read go-to author Tessa Bailey's The Major's Welcome Home was a fun novella that is light on the plot and heavy on the lust at first sight. Just go ahead and read it when you need a spicy pick-me-up. You won't be sorry. ✩✩✩✩✩
Had a couple DNFs on KindleUnlimited. Both Strung by Victoria Ashley and The Distraction by Morgan Elizabeth failed to keep me going past the first chapter. A personal pet-peeve (and something that seems to be a theme with the KU recommendations I have been getting lately) is the substitution of immature and asshole-ish behavior for character complexity. He's not misunderstood or a rebel, he is a jerk with boundary issues...move on girl, men are easy to find! Oh well, off to explore some more options.
November wrapped up with a book from one of my "must read" authors, Chloe Liese. Her Ever After Always is part of the Bergman Brother series. I reviewed both Always Only You and With You Forever courtesy of NetGalley and I am now getting caught up on the rest of the series. This one was especially great because it features a couple already married and how to re-find love, passion and trust in a relationship. A stunning Thanksgiving weekend read. ✩✩✩✩✩
Currently loading my Kindle, Overdrive and library hold lists with holiday themes romances for December...I cant wait!
