NetGalley Review: Bewitched by Kelly Moran

Release Date: March 5th 2019

Rating:   ✩✩✩✩

This book had a fun premise that is basically “Practical Magic” (movie version) meets TV’s “Charmed” and I was here for it.  All together the witchy world building is pretty good, though aided by some “it's just magic” hand waving to move the plot along.  The characters are decently developed.  While each is a solid archetype, there is some depth there and as a reader, you for sure want to know what happens with the rest of the sisters/triplets.  The plot moved along fairly well, though it felt very convenient at times.  The task of introducing an entire world (complete with magical mythos) while also completing a full plot cycle is quite an undertaking and Moran manages it well here.

Altogether this is a comfortable fantasy romance read that scratches the witchy/magic itch.
