This entire series has been a good time and if you liked the previous books, you are going to LOVE this one. Getting a story featuring the fan favorite was a treat and the modern take on “marriage of convenience” was done so well. Having read a few romances lately where the subplot (a touch of mystery and intrigue) was jammed in and rushed, this narrative flows well through all the plot elements and feels organic and not overdrawn. Managing tragic pasts in a non-trite way is a challenge and Lyssa Kay Adams nails it. This may be my favorite in the series so far, though I am already hoping for more from this author. 100% a 5-star read!
